Chocolate Peanut Butter Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup milk (of your choosing)
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder or 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp chia seeds

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the milk, peanut butter, chocolate protein powder or cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. Mix until a smooth base is formed.
  2. Once your base is smooth, fold in your oats and chia seeds. Make sure all oats are fully coated. The chia seeds alongside the oats will create a thickened mixture for a better consistency.
  3. Move the mixture into a jar or keep in jar and then move into the refrigerator. Chill overnight or for at least 8 hours to allow the oats time to absorb the liquid and form a pudding-like consistency.
  4. In the morning, or after the desired time, stir and add any additional toppings that are desired or a splash of milk. Enjoy!
